Lone Eagle Peak | Castle Rock Photographer
A few weeks ago I took an overnight backpacking trip with my brother Luke. For almost two years he has been talking about wanting to hike to Lone Eagle Peak in Grand County. Lone Eagle Peak may not be the tallest peak in Colorado at an elevation of 11,900 feet, but it is one of the more unique peaks with its pointed top. We hiked the 8 mile trail up to Mirror Lake stopping along the way at various waterfalls. Once we reached Mirror Lake we picked a secluded campsite right on the edge of the lake. We then spent the majority of our free time photographing Cascade Creek. Enjoy!

The four previous images were captured at sunrise the next morning.
This is how a photographer takes a selfie. : )
We even had some time for some fun and jumping pictures.
